Leo didn't cut it

As some of you know, the majority of my workteam is South African--one is English South African and the others are Afrikaaners. (If you want to know the difference, let me know and I'll explain.) As it happens, Leonardo di Caprio plays a South African in his new movie Blood Diamond. This afternoon I've been playing the promotional clip for my team, and we've been laughing at how wretched his accent is. It's downright awful--sounds nothing like anything we've ever heard.

I'm sure he acts very well in the movie, but if I see it, I think I'll be distracted the whole time by the rubbish accent ("rubbish" was not an adjective in my vocabulary until I worked with the Afrikaaners...)
