Ireland

I studied alot of Irish literature in college (Paul Delaney--my advisor and favorite professor--was primarily responsible). I loved studying lit because it required also studying history, sociology, philosophy, religion, the sciences and hosts of other topics which influence the content and perspective of authors and poets. In that light, I spent a lot of time studying Irish history and politics while reading Boland, Ni Dhomhnaill, Ni Chuilleanain, Heaney, Yeats, Kavanagh, Synge and O'Casey (among others).

Which is why I find this potentially exciting.
