The quilt square
About six months ago, an aquaintance who I admired very much was killed. "The Village Quilter"--linked over there on the left--put together a beautiful quilt for his widow. This is the square I made for the project.
Thanks, Suz. I assume you saw the square your mom made for the same quilt? Nancy, my quilter friend, makes baby quilts for expectant mothers and prays for the family while she makes the blanket. Although I often failed, I tried to follow her example and pray for the young widow and her two toddlers while I made the square. Oh dear, I'm getting all teary again just remembering!
