Momentous Day

Today is:

1. Groundhog Day

2. My cousin Mark's 32nd birthday

3. My half-birthday (I won't tell you which one).

4. the day as of which my dad has been married half of his life. Congratulations! He told my mom that they'd go outside and check for their shadows to see if they would get another 33 years. Since it's been raining all day, it seems they'll make it another 33 years (at which point my dad will be 99--with his genes, it's not that unlikely).
