Through the Shadowlands--a biography of C. S. Lewis and his wife Joy Davidman. If you are interested in Lewis' personal life, this is a great, short read.
Tender is the Night--F. Scott Fitzgerald. He's a great writer, and I highly recommend Gatsby. However, his plot lines are so depressing, that he's hard to read. I couldn't finish Tender. I just couldn't get more than half-way through. So sad.
Corelli's Mandolin--I'm going to give it a little more time, but I'm having trouble getting into it. Unless you hear otherwise, suppose that I didn't finish it. This is the book that inspired Captain Corelli's Mandolin with Nicolas Cage.
