The other day I saw a woman hanging the following sign in a Macy's window. I really wanted my camera.
"Due to a miss-print in the newspaper, Macy's is not able to honor sale prices this weekend."
I'm making up the second half of the sentence, which was irrelevant anyway.

Heh, heh, heh...
Don't these people know we're silently watching and waiting, ready to pounce?
:)
I debated pointing out her mistake (opening with, "I'm sorry, but I'm an English teacher and I just have to point out ..." It's a snotty and fabulous way to start a conversation). But, alas, I didn't. I just kept walking. I couldn't decide if it was nicer to point out her error, or let it go, but I was late for lunch and hungry, and my rumbly tummy made my decision.
