photos

Bastille Weekend began with a hike up in the Fontainbleau Forest to the top of a "mountain." Where I come from, it would be called a "rise," but it gave a great view of the flat plains. This shot is half-way down the hill. Sorry for the blur on the right... I think I have some condensation in my camera.

After a 17-hour romp to Beaune and back on Bastille Day, I was exhausted and I laid on my couch all day on Saturday (and watched Seinfeld). Below are photos from the first 5 of those 17-hours. After that I was just too hot and tired.

It's time to bring in the wheat in France. This is a drought year, and the farmer's aren't happy.

Sunflowers!
