Have you ever had a dream where someone did something really mean to you, and you worry that when you see him again, you'll try to act all normal, but on the inside you'll be wanting to smack him for deserting you on a railroad bridge when the engine was coming full-speed, forcing you to choose between jumping into a bottomless canyon or getting plastered by a locomotive?
But you know you won't ask him about it, 'cause you don't want to seem *insane,* but you worry that you'll over-compensate by being super-friendly, and the person (who in real-life would never let you walk on a railroad bridge over a gaping crevasse, let alone leave you there) will walk away from the encounter thinking that something's seriously wrong with you, which, in fact, is true?

Wow, don't make me psychoanalyze this one. :) Just kidding... yes I've had this happen.
I have to get on the ball and fill everyone in on the Italy adventures, but have found myself with an eye infection that's making it hard to see, let alone stare at a computer screen or read for any length of time. But soon, stories.
