"Eragon" and "Eldest" are the first two books in the "Inheritance" triology. Eragon was made into a rather weak movie last summer, but I still recommend the books. They are at a Harry Potter reading level, and chronicle the adventures of a peasant boy (Eragon) who becomes a dragon-rider and (persumably) will save his world (Alagaesia). This is GREAT escape reading. I'll be sure to buy and read the third in the series as soon as it comes out (in paperback).
