I will change my options so that the comments instructions are in English. I liked my date posting in French, but I don't want to inconvenience my readership (or, more precisely, my comment-er-ship).
p.s. I chose "Irish English" rather than "American English" for my language 'cause I'm curious how it's different in a blogging sense...so if there are any lingual weirdnesses, that's probably why.

Yes...clearly you could figure it out! But I have received negative comments about it several times, so I decided to change it up.
