so annie, you got out of your blue funk without me ever getting around to giving you all the answers! i do keep up w/the blog but leave comments too too seldom. i want to check out the book winter wheat. i miss kansas sometimes!

Winter Wheat technically takes place in Montana, but I'd imagine that there is a great deal in common with Kansas. It's wheat country: flat, few trees, dry.
