M. Ward
I saw M. Ward last night at the newly(-ish) renovated Fox Theater in Oakland. Incredible. He's probably best "known" as the "him" part of She & Him. He didn't play any of those songs, which was fine. His own are sublime. If you want to expand beyond She & Him (or you're starting fresh), get his newest album "Hold Time."

Awesome! I do want that album.
I would have to disagree that She and Him is what he is best known for. I think that album might have brought him a different audience but he was well on his way with Transistor Radio, getting the best slots (next to the headliner) at most music festivals around the country the past several years.
Ok...fine. I'm not going to argue indie music with you. See you next week!
