On my drive back up the 5 a few days ago, I passed a caravan of firefighters headed home after working the southern California wildfires. I got misty-eyed thinking of all the dangers and hardwork endured by these heroes who battled unimagineable wildfires.
I don't think that any firefighters read my blog, but just in case: THANK YOU for saving so many homes in the southland. As a former SoCal resident, I'm so thankful for your work and dedication. You all really went above and beyond, and your work is not unappreciated.
